Extreme Racing Election President show Colleges US Election 2024: Donald Trump holds a fragile lead over Kamala Harris, but battleground states could flip the script
presidential nominee Donald Trump is narrowly leading Democratic nominee Kamala Harris by just one point in a recent The New York Times/Siena College poll. Trump garners 48 percent of voter support against Harris's 47 percent. The poll, which surveyed 1,695 respondents nationwide, has a margin of error of 2.8 points, making the race a statistical tie. The poll results come on the heels of President Joe Biden’s unexpected decision in July to step aside from the 2024 presidential race, endorsing Kamala Harris to lead the Democratic Party. Despite an ensuing surge in Democratic enthusiasm, the race remains extremely tight, with Harris and Trump frequently swapping narrow leads in various surveys. FiveThirtyEight, a media outlet that ranks pollsters based on accuracy and methodology, has identified The New York Times/Siena College poll as the most reliable in the country. Polling averages suggest a very close race, with Harris often holding a slight national lead.

The decision to abstain from the polling was taken at Kashmiri pandit citizens meet held here in the light of the Assembly elections scheduled to take place in three phases on September 18, 25 and October 1. The event, attended by a significant number of Kashmiri Pandit leaders, focused on the ethical and political dilemma of participating in an election that «continues to disregard the community's demand for recognition of their genocide» and the resultant «forced exodus» from their homeland. «For decades now, we have been a community in exile, watching as successive governments and political parties utilise our exodus and our suffering as talking points during elections. Yet, when it comes to addressing our demands for justice — recognising our genocide, facilitating our return to our homeland with dignity, and restoring our rights — we are met with silence.

Citi Election love BABA performer Society doesn't like anybody breaking own family; have realised my mistake: Ajit Pawar
Ajit Pawar has said he experienced it and has already admitted his mistake, an apparent reference to the contest between his wife Sunetra and cousin Supriya Sule in the recent Lok Sabha polls. This is the second time in less than a month that NCP leader Pawar publicly admitted he had made a mistake by fielding his wife against NCP (SP) leader Sule, the daughter of his uncle Sharad Pawar, and noted politics should not enter the home. The «admission» of mistake came against the backdrop of poor performance by the NCP, one of the constituents of the Mahayuti alliance in the state, in its maiden general elections after a split in the party. Addressing the Jansamman rally organised by the NCP in Gadchiroli city on Friday, Ajit Pawar tried to discourage party leader and state minister Dharmarao Baba Aatram's daughter Bhagyashri from crossing over to the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP).
