markets Action Entertainment Strategy Election Experts Congress complains to EC about ads being strategically placed to promote Mahayuti campaign
Congress has complained to the Election Commission of India of ads being placed strategically within Marathi language television serials to promote the Mahayuti campaign. One Marathi television channel has been running the ads since yesterday which show a hoarding of the Shiv sena campaign slogan after a particular scene in the serial. General secretary of the Maharashtra Congress Sachin Sawant complained to the State Election Commission about the placement of the ads. “ In serials after a particular scene is over it cuts to a different scene but here they have shown a road with a hoarding put up by the Shiv Sena on the road. This is blatant paid ads and it is not accidental as it has happened in all the serials running in the particular entertainment channel.”said Sawant to ET. Sawant has approached the State Election Commission officials to take action against those involved. “ Firstly an FIR needs to be filed against the channel as well as the Shiv Sena(shinde) which has inserted these ads blatantly. Secondly it's clear that the channel has taken money to place these ads so an Economic Offence should also be registered against those involved.”said Sawant.

In his Mansion House speech on Thursday (14 November), King, who was elected the 696th Lord Mayor in late September, suggested conditioning a «full tax break» on ISAs by having account holders invest in UK companies. UPS FIVE Strategy Election country Maharashtra Elections: Devendra Fadnavis on BJP's narrative change after LS polls, CM's post, Maratha quota and more
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis is on a whirlwind campaign, addressing almost five rallies a day, in the run-up to the Maharashtra polls. Excerpts from an interview with ET’s Krishna Kumar & Jatin Takkar: On BJP’s narrative change after the LS polls: During the Lok Sabha polls, the opposition played up the narrative that reservations will go away, which pushed Dalits away. Secondly, adivasis were polarised against us. After the elections, we went to the people and even they realised that reservation will not go away. The entire fake narrative has been wiped out. Also, there was ‘vote Jihad’ against us as in several constituencies. Now, even if it happens, the impact would be limited. MVA has not realised that due to this voting pattern (of Muslims), there is a subtle feeling among people that if such things happen, then it is not good and pressure groups could be created. The Congress accepting their demands of the Ulema, especially the one where they have agreed to release rioters from 2012 to 2024, is dangerous and will backfire on them.
