YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister Y S Sharmila on Friday said that all the businesses which were established when former Chief Minister and her father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was alive, are of family assets and Jagan is just a «guardian» of them. In an open letter, she said that her late father Rajasekhara Reddy's intention was that Jagan should divide all the businesses equally among the four grandchildren — two each of Jagan and Sharmila. She said she received Rs 200 crore during the past 10 years towards her family share as dividends from various companies which established the fact that all four grandchildren of Rajasekhara Reddy would get equal portions. «They (all the assets) are not owned by Jagan. He is only the „Guardian“ of all existing family businesses. It is the responsibility of Jagan to divide all the businesses equally among the four grandchildren. It was the mandate of (late) Rajasekhara Reddy. YSR conveyed his intention to his children and his wife. Close associates, including KVP Ramachandra Rao, YV Subbareddy and Vijayasai Reddy know about this,» she said.

MET community show stage Equality For BJP, caste equations go hand in hand with welfarism in Maharashtra
BJP leader Pankaja Munde while addressing a Dussehra rally in Maharashtra's Beed district, her hometown. She also called upon the backwards to show their strength. Around the same time, Union minister Kiren Rijiju was holding meetings with Buddhist Dalit community leaders in the state. The meetings signify BJP's ploy to consolidate and expand its standing among the backwards and Dalits in Maharashtra. Munde shared the stage with her estranged cousin Dhananjay Munde after more than a decade in Beed, which was the epicentre of Maratha protests led by activist Manoj Jarange Patil. While Pankaja Munde is seen as BJP's OBC face in Marathwada, the party has deployed Rijiju to make inroads among Buddhist Dalits, especially in Vidarbha region. markets Digital Experts social Equality Interviews Ratan Tata said NO to cabin in Mumbai office. Lottery decided it
Ratan Tata, renowned for his humility and clarity, exemplified his down-to-earth leadership even in the smallest decisions. When he was transferred to the Mumbai headquarters of Tata Steel from Jamshedpur in the mid-1960s, an unusual event unfolded. In a moment that highlighted his modesty, Tata refused preferential treatment despite his family legacy. According to Rediff.com, at that time, the Bombay office of Tata Steel was compact, with limited space available for its senior staff. Tata, along with two other executive officers, shared the same designation, yet there was a suggestion that he should have a separate cabin, as he was being moved to the company’s headquarters. Ratan Tata, however, declined the offer unless his colleagues received similar accommodations. He firmly believed that no special treatment should be extended to him because of his last name. Arun Maira, a former colleague and author of The Learning Factory: How The Leaders Of Tata Became Nation Builders, shared this anecdote during an interview. Maira noted how Tata’s simple and fair-minded approach was pivotal in shaping the values of the Tata Group. “He was humble and didn’t want anything different just because he was a Tata,” Maira recalled.

students Experts Justice reports Equality Courts Mere existence of 40% disability does not bar student from pursuing MBBS course: SC
Supreme Court on Tuesday said mere existence of a benchmark disability of 40 percent does not bar a person from pursuing medical education unless there is an expert report that the candidate was incapacitated from pursuing MBBS. A bench of Justices BR Gavai, Aravind Kumar and KV Viswanathan gave detailed reasons for its September 18 order where it allowed a candidate to take admission in MBBS course after the medical board opined that he can pursue medical education without any impediment. The bench said the capacity of a candidate suffering from disability to pursue the MBBS course has to be examined by the disability assessment board. It said, «Mere existence of benchmark disability will not disqualify a candidate from being eligible for the MBBS course. The disability board assessing the disability of the candidate must positively record whether the disability of the candidate will or will not come in the way of the candidate pursuing the course.»
