Congo's crisis fuels global mpox health emergency
mpox and that she might be another case in a growing global health emergency. She also has no idea where to go to get medical help. This year's alarming rise in cases, including a new form of the virus identified by scientists in eastern Congo, led the World Health Organization to declare it a global health emergency on Wednesday. It said the new variant could spread beyond the five African countries where it had already been detected — a timely warning that came a day before Sweden reported its first case of the new strain. In the vast central African nation of Congo, which has had more than 96% of the world's roughly 17,000 recorded cases of mpox this year — and some 500 deaths from the disease — many of the most vulnerable seem unaware of its existence or the threat that it poses. «We know nothing about this,» Bagheni's husband, Habumuremyiza Hire, said on Thursday about mpox.

Tanushree Dutta blasts Vivek Agnihotri, claims he made her wear short clothes in front of crew
Tanushree Dutta once recounted her traumatic experience working with 'The Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri, and a resurfaced video of her interview is now gaining traction on Reddit. In the interview, she described how, despite wearing revealing outfits on set, she was prohibited from resting in the van. She was also harshly scolded for being just five minutes late to the shoot and endured an entire day of waiting without being called for a single shot. Speaking to Faridoon Shahryar, Tanushree, who collaborated with Vivek in the 2005 film 'Chocolate', shared, «One day, when I reached the set five minutes late, he shouted at me and called me unprofessional. There were times when I arrived on set before the lights were even on, and nothing was ready—no setup, nothing. But on that particular day, I was exactly five minutes late, and he was there only to check if I had shown up.»
