YouTube to initiate necessary legal measures against "fake news channels" and advised the platform to incorporate a disclaimer to address this issue effectively. In a notification, MeitY advised YouTube to put a disclaimer «news not verified» on "fake news channels". The IT Ministry has also asked major social media platforms with more than five million members to submit an action plan within 10 days, «on how they aim to combat fake news and unlawful content». Rahul Gandhi is likely to commence his three-day visit to Mizoram on Monday to campaign for the party's candidates for the November 7 assembly polls in the northeastern state, party officials said. During his visit, Gandhi will lead a march in Aizawl city and interact with people, Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee treasurer Lalmalsawma Nghaka said. The party is likely to announce its candidates for the 40-member assembly polls during Gandhi's visit, he said. «Rahul Gandhi will arrive here on Monday as part of Bharat Jodo Yatra. During his three-day visit, he will participate in a 2-km-long march from Chanmari to Treasury Square in Aizawl and will campaign for our candidates. He will also interact with renowned personalities of the state,» Nghaka said. Gandhi will address a press conference before his departure on October 18, he said.

While the concept of SIPs broadly implies spreading investments across a period, it has become synonymous with regular equity mutual fund investing thanks to the reliable systems put in place by asset managers and the smart marketing push by the industry. The numbers are evident. In September, mutual funds' SIP monthly book crossed ₹16,000 crore for the first time. This was about ₹3,700 crore in the same month of 2016. In 2020, the monthly SIP flows were around ₹7,800 crore. Retail investors love the simplicity of this investing method partly thanks to increased digitisation. A roaring equities bull market has also fuelled their interest.
