They are commonly used in products such as soaps, detergents, and shampoos, allowing them to remove grease and dirt. Unlike chemical surfactants, which can be harmful to the environment, biosurfactants are biodegradable, eco-friendly, and effective even under extreme conditions.

Zydus Lifesciences shares will be in focus on Wednesday after the company secured final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture a generic version of Apalutamide tablets, used to treat prostate cancer. The approval covers Apalutamide tablets of 60 mg strength, the company said in a regulatory filing. The drug will be manufactured at Zydus Lifesciences' SEZ facility in Ahmedabad.

Zomato is facing an insolvency plea from uniform supplier Nona Lifestyle, alleging unpaid dues of Rs 1.64 crore, as reported by Bar and Bench on March 17. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has adjourned the case to April 3, requesting the petitioner to clarify its next steps. According to the report, B2B apparel manufacturer Nona Lifestyle has approached the NCLT to initiate the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) against Zomato over alleged non-payment for supplied uniforms and merchandise, including ICC World Cup 2023 apparel.

Savage Pet has recalled some products that are feared to be contaminated with bird flu. Savage Pet is in the process of recalling several boxes of cat food chicken from a specific lot as it may contain H5N1, or the bird flu, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The brand is recalling 66 of its 84-oz Large Chicken Boxes and 74 of its 21-oz Small Chicken Boxes bearing the lot code/expiration date «11152026», the FDA said in a press release.
