Kamala Harris’ former running mate Tim Walz criticizes 2024 campaign, says Democrats must embrace bold strategies
Tim Walz, known for his straightforward style and background as a teacher and National Guard veteran, has openly reflected on the Democratic Party’s recent election strategy. As the former running mate to Kamala Harris in their 2024 bid against Donald Trump and JD Vance, Walz argued that Democrats erred by avoiding bold risks. He suggested the campaign should have engaged more directly with voters through town halls, even if it meant facing tough criticism, rather than sticking to cautious messaging.

Diego Maradona's medical team on trial for homicide, faces 25 years in jail
The trial for homicide will be conducted at a three-judge court in San Isidro, near the Argentine capital Buenos Aires from March 11, 2025, and is likely to continue for several months. Even though Maradona had been suffering from a host of health related issues for many years, the prosecution team has alleged that his death was the result of medical negligence on the part of the team of doctors and nurses treating him. An iconic player who mesmerised the football world with his exceptional talent, Maradona died aged 60 on November 25, 2020, following a cardiac arrest linked to acute pulmonary edema while undergoing treatment in a private residence in Tigre, Buenos Aires. Just a few days ago Maradona had undergone an operation for the removal of a blood clot in his brain.
