The social media influencer was admitted to the Narayana Cardiac Hospital in Bangalore, due to some serious health complications. Saha underwent an open heart surgery, following which he suffered multiple organ failure and had to be kept on a life support system. Although he responded to treatments earlier, his condition gradually took a turn for the worse. On Sunday, Saha’s father Soumyadeep shared a health update with his fans. “He is really in a critical situation with a life-saving support system, pray for a fast recovery..”

Employees' Provident Funds Organisation (EPFO) has increased the qualifying limit of Paragraph 68J claims for auto claims processing. The limit has been inreased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh, which was also implemented in the application software on April 10, 2024, EPFO said in a circular issued on April 16, 2024.

Juniper Green Energy on Tuesday announced commissioning of 25.2 MW capacity of its 70-MW wind power project. The project has been commissioned almost nine months before the scheduled commercial date of operation, the company said in a statement. The operational 25.2 MW is part of the project's progressive rollout, it said. This project will deliver power under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL at a tariff of Rs 2.90, aligning with efforts to provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible energy solutions, as per the statement.

New Delhi: Amir Sarfaraz Tamba, an accused in the murder of Indian death row prisoner in Pakistan Sarabjit Singh and a close associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit founder Hafiz Sayeed, was killed by unidentified gunmen in Lahore on Sunday, official sources said. Tamba was attacked by motorcycle-borne assailants in the Islampura area of Lahore in Pakistan and was rushed in critical condition to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, the sources said. Singh, 49, died of cardiac arrest in Jinnah Hospital Lahore in the wee hours of May 2, 2013, after being comatose for nearly a week following a brutal assault by inmates including Tamba, inside the high-security Kot Lakhpat jail. Tamba, whose father's name is Sarfaraz Javed, was born in Lahore in 1979 and was a close associate of the LeT founder.
