Jagan govt allotted 42 acres land for YSRCP offices in 26 districts for Rs 1,000 lease: Nara Lokesh
Andhra Pradesh Information Technology and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh on Sunday alleged that the former YSRCP government led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had allocated 42 acres of land in 26 districts for building party offices at a nominal cost of Rs 1,000 lease for 33 years. The minister posted the information on social media platform X along with several pictures of alleged YSRCP offices under construction. «You (Jagan) allocated 42 acres of land in 26 districts for YSRCP (offices) at a meagre cost of Rs 1,000 lease for 33 years,» Lokesh said in a post on X, attaching more than a dozen pictures of the alleged YSRCP offices under construction in various parts of the state. This development comes soon after it became public knowledge that a palatial mansion was allegedly built at a cost of Rs 500-crore in Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam for Jagan Reddy, and that an under-construction YSRCP central party office in Tadepalli was recently demolished.

AI will eliminate certain roles, but will create more jobs than it eliminates: Deloitte AI exec
AI will replace people with people, contrary to the common narrative, Deloitte's AI Executive Rohit Tandon said, emphasising that the future belongs to AI-human collaboration, not replacement, as he envisions a revolutionary era where technology empowers, rather than replaces, the workforce. In an interview with PTI, Tandon, Managing Director, AI and Insights Practice Leader, Deloitte LLP, said AI will not snatch jobs, but will simply do away with some of the easier jobs, and create new roles. «AI will, with people, replace people… It's not just AI replacing people. You still need humans in the loop,» he said. Tandon said the same kind of fear of job roles getting wiped out existed when IT, technology, and computers came into the scenario.

13-year-old boy was apprehended for allegedly sending an email to the Delhi Airport falsely claiming that a bomb had been planted in the Dubai-bound flight, police said on Sunday. Use of black money law retrospectively unconstitutional: High Court
black money law are popping the champagne. For the first time, the court has invoked Article 20 of the Constitution to squash law's retrospective use which was enacted in 2015 to allow the taxman to go after offshore bank accounts, properties and companies of resident Indians. Article 20 lays down that «no person shall be convicted of any offence except for violation of a law in force at the time of the commission of the act charged as an offence». In other words, one cannot be punished under a law which did not exist when the offence was committed. The Karnataka High Court has quashed the criminal proceedings initiated by the income-tax department against persons connected to overseas bank accounts and firms which were closed well before the Black Money Act came into force.
