A source close to the couple told 'Page Six' that Tom Bower's book, set to be published in the US on June 25 after being released in the UK, depicts David and Victoria Beckham as ambitious individuals who frequently struggle in their marriage.

Rebecca Loos, the ex-personal assistant of David Beckham, claimed in 2004 that the two of them had a romantic relationship. Furthermore, she mentioned that she once caught David in bed with Spanish model Esther Canadas.
This event is said to have happened when Victoria frantically called Rebecca Loos to ask where David was. After David left a party at Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo's villa at three in the morning, Rebecca discovered him in a bedroom.
Bower wrote that Rebecca knocked on the door and said to David that his wife is on the phone. Loos recounts that she spotted Canadas in the bed with David when he arrived to answer the call. She felt hurt, she said to a friend, because she thought she was the only one interacting with him.
