Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party for its alleged involvement in anti-state activities, it was announced on Monday. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that the federal government has decided to ban the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), alleging that the former ruling party was involved in anti-state activities, The News International reported. Khan, 71, has been lodged at the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi on account of multiple cases against him. Tarar said that clear evidence was available to impose restrictions on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and the government would initiate proceedings against the party.

United States has tweaked the International Entrepreneur Rule in a bid to attract more foreign entrepreneurs. Under the updated guidelines, foreign entrepreneurs can now potentially stay in the US for up to five years, contingent upon their venture's public benefit. Initially granted for two-and-a-half years, extensions may be granted based on criteria like funding milestones and job creation. The International Entrepreneur Rule (IER), administered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), lets noncitizen entrepreneurs apply for authorized stay in the United States, known as «parole,» based on demonstrating significant public benefit through their business ventures. This allows them to work exclusively for their startup. Eligibility extends to the entrepreneur's spouse, but not their children, who may also be paroled.

Gautam Adani plans to build a port in Vietnam as the Indian conglomerate seeks to develop infrastructure overseas to tap opportunities from increasing trade. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. has secured an “in-principle approval from the Vietnamese government” for a greenfield development in Da Nang, Karan Adani, managing director of the company, said in an interview. The project, which will have container terminals and multipurpose berths to handle various types of cargo, is at an early stage of planning and the total investment required hasn’t been finalized yet, he said.
