Delhi police catch scamster in Hyderabad after 2,500 km chase
Hyderabad by the Delhi police on Saturday for forcing several youngsters from India to commit cyber crimes through fake call centres on the promise of getting them jobs abroad after a 2,500-km chase. The accused, Kamran Haider alias Zaidi, carried a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his information by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Zaida, along with his associates, trafficked vulnerable young Indian men to the Golden Triangle Region in Southeast Asia, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, and force them to work in Chinese companies. Then, their passports would be taken away and they would be forced into cyber crimes.

Plea in Supreme Court against some provisions in new criminal laws
Bhartiya Nagrik Surakhsha Sanhita 2023. The plea has been filed through advocate Vishal Tiwari, which oppose and challenge the constitutionality of some provisions in criminal laws passed in Lok Sabha on December 20, 2023. In the petition, advocate Vishal Tiwari has urged the Supreme Court to consider his representation and and declare the Provisions/Section 187(2) (3), 43(3), 173 (3) and 85 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Surakhsha Sanhita 2023 as Ultra vires/ Unconstitutional being Violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India.

Mehbooba seeks age relaxation for SI recruitment in J-K
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday hoped the Jammu and Kashmir government will grant age relaxation to candidates for police sub-inspector posts as recruitment has been delayed since 2019. They were fishing in Palk Bay sea area when the Sri Lankan Navy came to the area early this morning claiming that the fishermen had crossed the border.
