Railways has a multiplier effect on economy; Modi 3.0 is going to have very big initiatives, says Ashwini Vaishnaw
Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said that railways has a multiplier effect of 4+ as compared to 2.3 in other infrastructure areas. «This is because the development of railways is a combination of various sectors, and every aspect of all important sectors has to come together to make these efforts a success,» he said. «Each rupee we invest in railways, has an impact on 250 industries,» he added. While speaking at the ET NOW Global Business Summit, Vaishnaw said that inclusive growth means people at the bottom of the pyramid must have access to the same quality of service as those at the top; this is the vision of Modi government, he said.

China introduces revolutionary nuclear battery that lasts 50 years without charging
Betavolt, claims to have developed a groundbreaking battery that can power smartphones for an impressive 50 years without the need for charging. The nuclear battery, which has been hailed as the world's first miniaturized atomic energy system, uses 63 nuclear isotopes packed into a module smaller than a coin. The technology behind the battery involves converting the energy released by decaying isotopes into electricity. This concept was first explored in the 20th century and Betavolt has successfully realized it in their innovative product. The startup has already initiated pilot testing and plans to mass-produce the battery for commercial applications, such as smartphones and drones.
