Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 2.64%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 1.99%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 0.66%), MOIL Ltd.(up 0.62%), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 0.35%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 0.34%) and The Orissa Minerals Development Company Ltd.(up 0.34%) stood among the top gainers.
Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(down 3.96%), NMDC Ltd.(down 3.05%), KIOCL Ltd.(down 2.97%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 1.95%), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.85%), Pokarna Ltd.(down 0.27%) and 20 Microns Ltd.(down 0.08%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 73.86 points up at 21618.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 271.5 points at 71657.71.
Cipla Ltd.(up 3.09%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.77%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 2.69%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.17%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.44%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.35%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.08%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.02%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.92%) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 0.71%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
