According to details, shared by The Dawn, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) prepared the Election Management System (EMS) app for transmission of results from each polling station to a centralized system where the Returning Offices would complete the tabulation of all results. However, Presiding Officers at several polling stations on Thursday evening found themselves unable to transmit the final results of their respective stations using the much-touted and homegrown system, the Dawn Newspaper reported, adding, an absence of connectivity.

NEW DELHI : Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collection of central and state governments will continue to grow at a faster pace than nominal GDP growth rate till very high tax compliance level is achieved, after which, the tax on consumption will grow in sync with the rate of economic expansion, Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) chairman Sanjay Kumar Agarwal said in an interview. Agarwal said that the nominal GDP rate will be dictating growth in GST revenue although presently there is a tax buoyancy above 1, which indicates compliance level is going up.

Airtel added the maximum number of 4G/5G subscribers in November with 3.98 million users joining its network, followed by Reliance Jio with 3.45 million. Beleaguered Vodafone Idea added 0.96 million 4G subscribers, even as it continued to lose overall wireless subscribers, data shared by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) said Monday. At the end of November 30, Reliance Jio commanded the leadership position in wireless broadband space with 455.82 million subscribers followed by Bharti Airtel with 255.07 million and Vodafone Idea at 126.63 million.
