Nifty extended losses for the fourth straight session on Friday, September 22. The domestic institutional investors (DIIs) turned net buyers and invested ₹80 crore in Indian stocks today. As per the NSE data, FIIs cumulatively bought ₹10,840.20 crore of Indian equities, while they sold ₹12,166.94 crore --- resulting in an outflow of ₹12,166.94 crore on Friday.

Bajaj Finance Ltd will meet on October 5 to consider and approve fundraising through equity instruments. Among the various options, the board will consider preferential issue of shares or qualified institutional placement issue, it said in a regulatory filing. Nifty 50 and the Sensex, the two benchmark indices of the domestic stock market, ended in the red for the fourth consecutive session on Friday (September 22) amid weak global cues as the US Treasury yields rose to their multi-year high levels and crude oil prices rose by about a per cent, weighing on the appetite of investors for riskier equities. The gains in the US Treasury yields, dollar and crude oil prices dealt a blow to market sentiment as investors tried to digest the possibility of one more rate hike by the US Fed by the end of this year.

Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded 1.44 per cent down at Rs 419.8 on Friday at around 01:55PM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex declined 134.68 points to 66095.56. As many as 62,510 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 2.63 crore. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 598.15 and a 52-week low of Rs 315.3. On the technical charts, the 200-DMA of the stock stood at Rs 434.18, while 50-DMA was at Rs 442.92.

The underlying momentum of Nifty is quite bullish, said Kavita Agrawal, CMT CFA, CEO of exp-invest.in. In an interview with Mint, Agrawal said swing trading is a high-risk risk high-reward alternative to options trading which is high-risk low reward. The underlying momentum of the Nifty 50 is quite bullish. The daily timeframe suggests this is a mere breather and the level is 20,000 is a major psychological resistance so it’s natural that the market has taken some correction.

Siemens Ltd. fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 3723.15 in Friday's trade as of 12:28PM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 19776.3, up 33.95 points. The scrip had closed at Rs 3740.65 in the previous session.

RR Kabel shares were listed on September 20 at a 14% premium to issue price. RR Kabel share price began trading at ₹1,179 on BSE and ₹1,180 on NSE as compared to the issue price of ₹1,035 per share. The stock has been rising since listing and is up more than 15% from the issue price.
