Triveni Engineering & Industries(up 3.58%), MAGADHSUGAR(up 2.08%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries(up 1.56%), Shree Renuka Sugars(up 1.30%), Uttam Sugar Mills(up 1.14%), Mawana Sugars(up 0.91%), EID Parry(up 0.89%), Sakthi Sugars(up 0.77%), KCP Sugar & Industries(up 0.58%) and BAJAJHIND(up 0.19%) stood among the top gainers.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 68.1 points down at 19674.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 221.09 points at 66009.15.
