Stock market update: Sugar stocks down as market rises

EID Parry(up 0.64%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.38%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(up 0.25%), Ugar Sugar Works(up 0.19%), BAJAJHIND(up 0.19%) and Bannari Amman Sugars(up 0.02%) were among the top gainers.
Balrampur Chini Mills(down 1.69%), DCM Shriram Industries(down 1.48%), Rana Sugars(down 1.25%), MAGADHSUGAR(down 1.23%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(down 1.09%), Sakthi Sugars(down 1.06%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(down 0.86%), K.M.Sugar Mills(down 0.85%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals(down 0.71%) and AVADHSUGAR(down 0.69%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 84.35 points up at 19607.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 228.15 points at 65736.47 at around 11:15AM.

Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.23%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.89%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.83%), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.68%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.58%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.27%), UPL Ltd.(up 2.05%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 2.04%) and Coal India Ltd.(up 1.51%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.93%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.58%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.01%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.98%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.8%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.43%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.37%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.28%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.24%) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.18%) were trading in the red.
