Stock market update: Sugar stocks up as market rises
MAGADHSUGAR(up 1.84%), DCM Shriram Industries(up 1.52%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(up 1.38%), Balrampur Chini Mills(up 1.26%), Simbhaoli Sugars(up 1.21%), EID Parry(up 1.15%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(up 1.02%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.98%), BAJAJHIND(up 0.98%) and AVADHSUGAR(up 0.83%) were among the top gainers.
Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 0.39%) and Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 0.12%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 100.35 points up at 19646.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 333.26 points at 65964.83 at around 11:05AM.
Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.47%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 1.72%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.7%), ITC Ltd.(up 1.59%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 1.56%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.54%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.09%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.94%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.94%) and Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.88%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.52%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.47%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.24%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.17%) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.07%) were trading in the red.
