We have not taken money out of India and continue to like it on a medium to longer-term basis: Jonathan Schiessl
Jonathan Schiessl, Deputy CIO, Westminster AMC, says “I am very happy with our investments towards India which tend to be much longer term. We try not to be too short term. We have taken some equity weightings down to sort of underweight positions but within the context of an overall equity allocation, we have kept weightings in emerging markets and places like India up. We have not taken money out of India at all and we continue to like it on a medium to longer term basis.” I always thought you loved India. Yes.

PM can criticise Cong as much as he wants but should not 'take away' rights of poor: Kharge
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said people in rural India are forced to wander from door-to-door in search of work under MGNREGA while the prime minister was «hiding his failures» by criticising the Congress in poll-bound states. Kharge's remarks come a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan over exam paper leaks, corruption and law and order, saying it cared only for its «vote bank» and not the people of Rajasthan.

Only asked legal question: SC on why it asked ED about AAP not being made an accused in the Excise case
Supreme Court Thursday said it was only asking a «legal question» from the Enforcement Directorate about a political party, Aam Aadmi Party, not being made an accused in the Delhi Excise Policy «scam» case despite being an alleged beneficiary. On Wednesday, the top court asked the ED to explain why the AAP was not made an accused in the money laundering case related to the alleged scam. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti clarified its observation after senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, appearing for former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, said the court's question made headlines in newspapers and TV channels that AAP will be made an accused.
