Remark President reports NOT Ties with Ajit Pawar not the same anymore, Supriya Sule admits
Supriya Sule, Baramati MP and daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, has admitted that there is now personal and ideological distance between her and cousin Ajit Pawar following the split in the party, ToI reported on September 24. This is the first time that Sule has made such an admission. She, however, added that her respect for him will remain the same all her life. It may be recalled here that in July 2023, Ajit Pawar vertically split the party, later garnering support from more NCP MLAs than his uncle Sharad Pawar. On the split, Sule said that she did not like the way the «BJP misused its power to break the party». Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule has apologized to Ajit Pawar for a remark made by BJP MLC Gopichand Padalkar, calling him a wolf. Bawankule also clarified that the BJP does not back Padalkar's views. Padalkar, who had contested against Ajit Pawar in 2019, has been criticizing the Pawar family. Rohit Pawar, an MLA from the Sharad Pawar camp, has accused the rival faction of using pressure tactics against their MLAs to switch sides.

love NOT Maritime and land routes not distinct but part of silk roads ecosystem: Peter Frankopan
What does history tell us about the ancient trade route that has a resemblance to the IMEC?Well, the first thing we should ask is whether something like the IMEC already exists. Governments love to make grand announcements that can sound dazzling and exciting. The connections between India, the Middle East and Europe date back millennia — as they do with other parts of Asia and Africa too. Certainly, massive new investment in infra, energy, transport and communications can, and will, help boost trade even further. But this is a proposed stimulus to something that already exists. The Middle East is already home to a large Indian diaspora, and there are very close trade ties already; the same with Europe. How will you compare this maritime route with the Silk Road that connected China? These routes and corridors are and always have been abstract rather than concrete. Labels like ‘maritime route’ or ‘Silk Roads’ are used by historians and commentators as short-hand for exchanges of all kinds. Most serious scholars would argue that maritime and land routes are not distinct but part of a single ecosystem of ‘Silk Roads’. Trying to suggest they are alternatives is something that has in part sprung from China’s ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ — and the implication that there are two different sets of connections. I steer well away from that myself… I am also cagey of the current vogue of some Indian scholars to push a ‘maritime model’ that divorces Indian history from routes and connections to the north and the west is dangerous, especially in today’s increasingly toxic political debates.

Cooper economy information NOT Co-operative sector is not irrelevant, was hurt by political interference: Amit Shah
Amit Shah on Saturday said the co-operative sector was «not irrelevant», but it was hurt by political interference in the past. The Narendra Modi government's decision to de-link it from the agriculture ministry gave the sector a tremendous boost, he said. Shah, who also handles the co-operation portfolio alongside the home ministry, was delivering the Laxmanrao Inamdar Memorial Lecture at Mumbai University. Co-operation is a human-centric model where people with minimum capital can contribute to the economy by coming together and compete with those who have access to more funds, he said. He also said that the Modi government brought into mainstream some 60 crore people who did not have bank accounts and were part of the informal economy. The cooperative movement must absorb modern technologies, he said, adding that «mass production and production by masses» is required.

UPS Target pandemic country NOT The good, the bad, and the not-so-bad of August inflation
CPI inflation fell below 7% in August, and at 6.83%, it printed well below the market’s expectations led by deflation in the prices of vegetables, particularly, tomatoes. The bad news is that inflationary pressures shifted from perishable items to others in the food basket like cereals, spices, and pulses, which could prove to be sticky in coming months, much to the concern of the authorities, particularly the Reserve Bank of India. And the no-so-bad news about the August inflation is that it might not trigger any move from the Monetary Policy Committee of the RBI & could keep the repo rate steady at 6.5% for the remainder of this financial year.Inflation InternalsWhile August CPI inflation was below market expectation of 7%, it remained well above the MPC’s target range of 2-6%. Vegetable prices fell by 6% month-on-month in August as opposed to a 38% rise between June and July. This led to inflation falling to 6.8% from 7.4% in July.

Extreme Career Death show exclusive reports trudeau NOT A Komagata Maru apology, an NDP alliance: Why Justin Trudeau might not condemn Khalistan extremism
Justin Trudeau seeks to return to governance for a third straight term, his popularity seems to have taken a hit, giving way to Conservative Right wing opposition candidate Pierre Poilievre. PM Trudeau's handling of the killing of Khalistan extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar seems to indicate a subtle dissociation from a right-wing leader in order to propel his static year-over-year at 31 per cent popularity as best choice for Prime Minister candidate. The need to move away, rather severe ties with right wing ideologies seems like an opportune moment for an unfazed PM Trudeau.
