Uttar Pradesh, a tragic stampede during a religious congregation led by 'Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba' has claimed the lives of at least 121 people, leaving over 300 others injured. He also enquired about the medical facilities, safe drinking water and baby food being given to the inmates in the camp. While talking to the flood affected people, he assured them of all possible help from the government. The Chief Minister also said that once the flood water recedes, the breach point will be repaired using latest technology and action will be taken to facilitate the flood victims' early return to their respective homes. He also said that 'Team Assam' has been unrelenting in its endeavour to ensure relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people. The Chief Minister also asked the District Commissioner to ensure that the flood victims get adequate help from the administration. He asked the DC to ensure availability of adequate fodder for domestic animals sheltered in the relief camps.
