Law can't be different for Aam Aadmi and Kejriwal, says BJP
Arvind Kejriwal's petition challenging his arrest by Enforcement Directorate, BJP said that Kejriwal wanted different treatment for himself as 'Khas Aadmi'. «For the so-called Aam Aadmi chief minister, the court has clearly said that the law cannot be different for the common man and the AAP chief minister. The 'Aam Aadmi' cap has been pulled off as Kejriwal wanted the treatment of a 'Khas Aadmi',» BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi told media persons in Delhi. Trivedi further said that Kejriwal's 'arrogance' was shattered when faced with 'sharp-edged facts'. Leader of Opposition in Delhi assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, demanded Delhi chief minister's resignation. «Kejriwal should now give up his insistence on running the government from jail and immediately resign from the chief minister's post. If Kejriwal and his party remain adamant, then the President will be left with no other option but to dismiss the government,» he said in a statement.

Addressing an election rally at Namsai under Arunachal East parliamentary constituency, the defence minister asked if India renamed a place in China, would it mean that the place comes under India? Such attempts will only harm the relation between the two countries."

BJP takes 'Kejri Corruption Kranti' jibe, asks if Arvind Kejriwal has any moral right to remain CM
BJP on Tuesday seized the Delhi High Court's rejection of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea against his arrest by the ED and its critical observations to attack the AAP convener, claiming the movement which began with the Indian Against Corruption stir has now turned into «Kejri Corruption Kranti». The BJP also pushed for the chief minister's resignation, with its Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva asking if he is now left with any moral right to continue while he remains under arrest. BJP's national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi cited several observations of the high court to slam the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its chief, accusing them of trying to politicise investigation and judicial processes. In a setback to Kejriwal, the high court on Tuesday dismissed his petition challenging his arrest in a money laundering case stemming from the alleged excise scam, saying there was no contravention of legal provisions.
