Is the divorce getting nasty? Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are arguing over these issues
divorce, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are allegedly fighting over these money matters. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck apparently didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement ahead of their July 2022 wedding in Las Vegas. It's absurd that any of their financial advisors would have permitted that to occur, but that's most likely the reason the divorcing couple is allegedly engaged in a legal dispute over two of their assets. The $60 million house they've listed for $68 million and the production company Artists Equity Ben formed with Matt Damon two years ago, in which Jennifer also has a stake, are the assets at stake. They had no prenup, which complicates things, as reported by In Touch Weekly.

France plans 60 bln euro budget squeeze for next year
60 billion euro belt-tightening drive next year to hit new fiscal targets, officials said on Wednesday, outlining an unprecedented push to rein in France's spiralling deficit. Prime Minister Michel Barnier told lawmakers on Tuesday he would reduce the budget deficit — which is set to reach 6.1% of GDP this year — to 5% by the end of 2025 but would have to push back the target date for reaching the euro zone's common 3% deficit goal to 2029 from 2027. Three government officials involved in preparing the 2025 budget said the 60 billion euro ($66 billion) squeeze — equivalent to roughly 2% of GDP — was needed to correct the deficit from where it would otherwise have been if nothing had been done.

Delhi govt to audit DISCOMs on pension surcharge issue
Atishi has ordered a special audit of power companies to look into the pension surcharge issue, an official statement said on Wednesday. The surcharge is calculated as a percentage of the amount of fixed and energy cost portion of the bill. Emphasising the government's commitment towards the welfare of pensioners, Atishi stated that the well-being of DVB pensioners was a top priority. The audit is expected to bring accountability and clarity to the funding and distribution of pension benefits, ensuring that pensioners receive the support they deserve.

Ukraine's military will pull out of Vuhledar in the east after 2 years of intense fighting
Vuhledar, perched atop a tactically significant hill in eastern Ukraine, after more than two years of grinding battle, military officials said Wednesday. Vuhledar, a town Ukrainian forces fought tooth and nail to keep, is the latest urban settlement to fall to the Russians as the war stretches deep into its third year and the Ukrainian army is gradually being pushed backward in the eastern Donetsk province. It follows a vicious summer campaign along the eastern front that saw Kyiv cede several thousand square kilometers (square miles) of territory as the Russian army hacks its way westward, obliterating towns and villages with missiles, glide bombs, artillery and drones.
