Infra push in backward belts about social justice: PM Modi
Narendra Modi emphasised on Friday that infrastructure development is related to social justice and the efforts of his government in the last nine years to take projects like roads, railway lines, industries and even mobile connectivity to areas where poor, Dalits, backwards and tribals live has contributed to their well-being. Modi laid the foundation stone and dedicated various development projects worth Rs 7,500 crore in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Friday. This includes five national highway projects, new railway line from Keoti to Anantgarh, IOC bottling plant at Korba, and flagged off the Antagarh-Raipur train. Farmers and laborers are the biggest beneficiaries of this. Modi also pointed out that most of these tribal villages where connectivity has improved were the ones ones affected by Naxalite violence.
