Why withdrawal of money from your PF is fraught with challenges
Funding the purchase of your dream house is a tough ask, particularly if you are a salaried employee. For one, property prices seem to be on the rise always. Two, savings from mutual fund investments and bank fixed deposits alone may not be sufficient as there will always be expenses that are often unaccounted for.

Will try to fix cracks appearing in PAGD: CPM leader M Y Tarigami
CPM leader M Y Tarigami on Monday said he will try to mend the cracks that have emerged among PAGD constituents — the National Conference and the PDP — over seat sharing for the Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir. The PAGD — an amalgam of seven parties, including the NC and the PDP — was formed in the wake of the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution by the Centre in August 2109. «The emergence of PAGD was due to a crisis which still exists. There have been differences between the constituents recently which are out in public. I will still try to mend the gaps that have emerged,» Tarigami, who is the spokesperson of the PAGD, told reporters in Srinagar. The People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) had a seat-sharing arrangement for the District Development Council (DDC) polls held in 2020.

Election Commissioner Arun Goel's sudden resignation has led to a crisis: Karti Chidambaram

Speaking to reporters, Karti pointed that no press conference was held and neither was any reason disclosed about the resignation of a person who held a constitutional post. «In a mature democracy, if a senior constitutional functionary resigns, there will be a press conference or there will be a statement, at the least to disclose the reason behind the resignation. His sudden resignation has led to a constitutional crisis and the government has not given any explanation on it,» he remarked.
