Dr Lal PathLabs sets sights on big buys to expand in south
Dr Lal PathLabs, India's largest diagnostic chain, is looking at a potentially large acquisition to increase its foothold in south India. If the asset is of a strategic fit, it could look at a deal size of Rs 3,000 crore-Rs 4,000 crore, said a senior company official. «We have around Rs 1,000 crore (net) cash, we can leverage our balance sheet, we can use our equity, size will not hold us,» said Ved Prakash Goel, group CFO, in an interview to ET. «There are people who are there in the market, the (valuation) expectation is high,» Goel said. Dr Lal is typically looking at assets with Rs 300-400 crore revenue, with the right revenue mix, good quality and governance practices. It has formed an M&A team to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities in the market.

Husband feels neglected when...: Gaurav Taneja's old video goes viral amid divorce rumours
Gaurav Taneja, aka Flying Beast, and his wife Ritu Rathee's alleged separation have been circulating on social media recently. Both Gaurav and Ritu have addressed these rumors, emphasizing that their relationship is a private matter between «husband and wife.» However, social media users suggest the couple may be facing challenges. Additionally, an old video of Gaurav discussing the impact of pregnancy on marriage has resurfaced. In it, he mentions that husbands may feel «neglected» as their wives prioritize the baby and notes that extramarital affairs can be common during pregnancy. «When you have a baby as a couple, the husband feels neglected for 2-3 months by the wife. All her time goes to the baby,» the YouTuber is heard saying in the video.

End of Special status welcome, but jobs, outsiders, dip in tourism, increase in terror incidents a worry for Jammu
While Jammu has arguably been a bigger gainer of the removal of special status as the power balance with the Valley has ostensibly been reduced, there are many issues that plague the minds of people living in the lower altitudes. High unemployment and lack of jobs commensurate with the education levels is a big worry for the youth. Many young people that ET talked to said they and their peers are working in other parts of the country or going to Singapore, Australia, Canada and the European countries for low-end jobs. Agniveer has also caused a lot of resentment. “Earlier there used to be so many boys running on the roads early in the morning to practice for joining the army but now you hardly see any youngsters doing so. There is not much interest in becoming an Agniveer,” said Narendra Sharma, the PDP candidate in RS Pura, Jammu.
