In her video, Rathee responded to the speculation surrounding their split, echoing Taneja's previous comments that “men are made villains very fast.” She expressed her frustration with those assuming they understand the dynamics of her marriage. “A small thing happened between a husband and wife. He thought he was right, I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I,” she shared, urging viewers to recognize that personal conflicts do not define a person's character.
Rathee insisted, “Does that mean you will tell me what kind of man he was? I know that man inside out. I don’t need to hear from you whether he is genuine or loyal. I have seen him go through every situation.”
Ritu Rathee criticized society's tendency to judge and gossip about others’ personal lives. She noted that while traditional views often blamed women in family disputes, modern society now shifts blame to men when a couple separates. “Earlier, people lived in joint families, and women were blamed for everything. Now, as society has evolved, men are often at fault,” she remarked.
She also made it clear that she does not seek validation from social media, having stepped back from it a year ago. “I don’t need support from social media. People who live in glass houses love to gossip about others,” she said, stressing her independence and capability as a mother of two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.
