UPS Waters Racing ICE performer rock Moon Russia's Luna-25 in a race with India's Chandrayaan-3 to be the first to reach moon's south pole
Russia is planning to launch a lunar mission this week after multiple delays, triggering a race with India's Chandrayaan-3 to reach the Moon's south pole. Russia hopes to return to the Moon for the first time in nearly fifty years. The launch, which is scheduled for the early hours of Friday (August 11), is Russia's first since 1976. A Soyuz rocket had been assembled at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Russian Far East for the launch of the Luna-25 lander. The four-legged lander, which weighs around 800 kilogrammes, is expected to touch down in the region of the lunar south pole. The launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome, 3,450 miles (5,550 km) east of Moscow, will take place four weeks after India sent up its Chandrayaan-3 lunar lander which is set to touch down at the pole on August 23. The Russian space agency, Roscosmos, has outlined an ambitious timeline for its Luna-25 spacecraft. The craft is slated to embark on a five-day journey to the Moon, followed by 5-7 days in lunar orbit, culminating in a descent to one of three potential landing sites near the Moon's south pole. This carefully calculated timetable suggests that Russia could potentially match or narrowly surpass Chandrayaan-3's lunar touchdown. Navigating the challenging terrain of the moon's south pole poses a formidable challenge. However, this region holds immense scientific interest due to its speculated abundance of ice—a resource with vast implications. This ice could potentially serve as a reservoir for fuel, oxygen, and drinking water, thereby bolstering future lunar habitation endeavours.

UPS Career rock Ne-Yo discusses gender issues in podcast interview. See what he said
Ne-Yo shared his thoughts on gender matters during a podcast conversation with Gloria Velez on VladTV. Ne-Yo said, “I feel like the parents have almost forgotten what the role of a parent is. If your little boy comes up to you and says, ‘Daddy I wanna be a girl,’ you just let him rock with that? Where did he get that? If you let this 5-year-old little boy eat candy all day, he’s gonna do that. Like, when did it become a good idea to let a 5-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 12-year-old make a life-changing decision? When did that happen? Like, I don’t understand that.” The 43-year-old three-time Grammy winner reminisced about an era where gender was clear-cut. “I come from a time when men were men and women were women. There were two genders, and that’s how things were,” he stated. He added that individuals could identify however they wished, but he wouldn't indulge in such ideas. “You could identify as a goldfish if you feel like, that ain’t my business. It becomes my business when you try to make me play the game. I’m not gonna call you a goldfish,” Ne-Yo added. Ne-Yo, a father of seven with two mothers, received varied reactions to his comments online. Critics likened his parenting advice to «getting racial sensitivity training from Paula Deen.» Yet, he also found support, with fans affirming their agreement and praising his contributions as an artist. Known for producing three No. 1 albums, including his debut «In My Own Words,» Ne-Yo boasts three Grammy wins out of 15 nominations.
