Taylor Swift's Donald Trump problem: Will she endorse Kamala Harris for U.S Elections, last time she endorsed Biden
Taylor Swift’s recent appearance at the US Open raised eyebrows not just for her celebrity entourage but due to political undertones. Accompanied by NFL star Travis Kelce, the Haim sisters, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with his wife Brittany, the gathering caused controversy among her fans. Brittany Mahomes had previously liked a post by Donald Trump on Instagram, which included promises like mass deportations and defunding schools teaching Critical Race Theory. Swift’s fans, who have a strong progressive base, were upset by her association with someone supporting Trump, as per the reports of Yahoo entertainment. Despite public outcry, Brittany refused to apologize, standing by her views and receiving praise from some Republicans. She emphasized the importance of kindness despite political differences, sharing a message that people can disagree and still respect each other. However, Trump’s public thank you to Brittany only deepened the issue for Swift’s fans, who were hoping for more distance between the singer and those supporting Trump.
