Paytm UPI will now support UPI trading blocks i.e. Single Block Multiple Debits, resulting in simplification of stock market trading and investing. Using this feature Paytm UPI users can now set up automatic payment deductions directly from their bank account for stock market transactions, without having to transfer large sums to their trading accounts on supported stock broking apps. This will enable Paytm UPI users to continue to earn interest on their savings account bank balance, until they make their actual stock market transactions, since funds remain in their bank account. To say about this feature in a nutshell, the money from your bank account will only be deducted once you place the buy transaction on the stock market for buying any security. Like if you have Rs 10,000 in your bank account and want to buy shares of a company priced at Rs 1200 per share, then as soon as you hit the buy button for this share, the exact amount of money will be debited from your bank account. Earlier, you had to transfer the money from your bank account to the trading account and then place the buy order. After this the remaining balance would be transferred back to your bank account if unused. This delay is now eliminated through this UPI trading block feature. Suzlon has secured a third order of 204.75 MW from Jindal Green Wind 1 Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables, further accelerating the Low CO₂ Steel revolution in India. This partnership is also now Suzlon’s largest commercial and industrial (C&I) order with a cumulative capacity of 907.20 MW, the company said in a press statement. Earlier, Suzlon secured two orders to power Jindal Steel’s plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, adding 702.45 MW of wind energy.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) surged as much as 3.7% on Tuesday to Rs 115.25 on the BSE after the Government of India granted the company a Navratna status, enhancing its financial and operational autonomy. The Department of Public Enterprises announced on Monday that IRFC and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have been accorded Navratna status, expanding the list of such Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) to 26. IRCTC shares also gained on Tuesday, rising as much as 0.7% to Rs 680.7 on the BSE.

An immediate repercussion of Washington's security recoil has been the beginning of an almost pan-European consensus on the need to step up and fill potential gaps that could emerge as a result. Most European leaders appeared bound in a consensus to carve a new security assurance for Ukraine, except this time without the US. France, Germany and Britain, along with the EU as a bloc, depicted existential urgency at Sunday's leaders' European security summit in London, knowing that the block may have to take charge of not just its own security but also negotiations on part of Ukraine.

Sebi on Monday extended the deadline by a month to March-end for reporting differential rights issues by Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). A one-time reporting requirement was set for AIFs that filed their Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) with SEBI on or after March 1, 2020, and issued differential rights outside the standard guidelines. This report was initially due by February 28, 2025. Following the requests for more time from the AIF industry, the deadline has been extended to March 31, 2025, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) said in a circular.

Howeve, Nnow the bBiometric aAuthentication process can be completed in one’s home state instead of the state where the GST registration is being sought. Like For instance, if the company is being registered in Delhi but you are from Nagaland then you have to travel to Delhi and complete the GST registration. With this update made on March 3, 2025 by GSTN now you can complete the GST registration from Nagaland itself without going coming to Delhi, as per this example.
