Petrol and diesel sales by state-run oil companies fell 8% and 6% respectively over the last year in the first half of August as the private sector fuel retailers clawed back market share and as heavy rains affected mobility and industrial activity in some parts of the country. Netflix's series 'Warrior Nun' got canceled after two seasons. Fans' support has led to the show's return as a trilogy of movies.Dean English, the Executive Producer, shared on social media that Netflix has decided to produce three films based on the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala by Ben Dunn. English expressed gratitude to the dedicated fans. He noted their enthusiasm and shared that this motivation keeps them moving ahead to create these stories. English announced the return of Warrior Nun as a trilogy of motion pictures. He mentioned the trilogy of feature films and thanked fans for their continued support. While English acknowledged Hollywood's issues with actors and writers strikes, he couldn't disclose many details about the films. He addressed the possibility of expanding the Warrior Nun universe, with films and TV series introducing known characters. English confirmed that this is indeed happening and assured that more information will follow in due time. The Warrior Nun series, created by Simon Barry, features a 19-year-old woman (Alba Baptista) who wakes up with a divine artifact embedded in her back. She finds out that she's now part of an ancient order tasked with battling demons on Earth. Both heavenly and hellish forces want to control her. The show starred Alba Baptista alongside Kristina Tonteri-Young, Lorena Andrea, Toya Turner (Season 1), Tristán Ulloa, Thekla Reuten, Sylvia De Fanti, and William Miller. Simon Barry, the creator, also served as the showrunner. The story revolves around a young woman discovering her newfound purpose in a battle against supernatural beings.

Vedanta's bid to acquire Meenakshi Energy through the insolvency resolution process was approved by the Hyderabad National Company Law Tribunal last week. The Anil Agarwal company offered ₹1,440 crore against admitted claims of ₹4,625 crore, equating to a 31% recovery, distributed among lenders, trade creditors and employees. Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana (ABRY), launched in 2020 at the time of the pandemic. As per latest government data, enrolments under ABRY stood at 6.04 million as on July 22, 2023, well short of the revised target of generating 7.18 million jobs under the scheme but higher than its initial target of 5.85 million. NEW DELHI : The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Wednesday asked the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to respond in three weeks to a petition filed by Adisri Commercial, the former promoter of Srei Infrastructure Finance, against an earlier order issued by the tribunal. On 8 October, 2021, the Kolkata bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had admitted Srei into the corporate insolvency process, and an NCLAT bench In December 2022 rejected Adisri’s plea challenging the NCLT order.
