Archana Puran Singh discloses how much salary she gets in 'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show' as compared to other crew members
The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2', Archana Puran Singh has candidly shared insights into her salary compared to her fellow crew members. In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan, alongside Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur, Singh revealed that despite her laughter being a central part of the show, her salary is not as high as others who handle more demanding roles. Singh noted, “I’m happy with what I earn because I only have to laugh. The rest of the crew, who work harder and handle makeup, get paid double for their efforts.” She humorously added, “Some get paid for their beauty, others for their talent, but I get paid for all of that.” Reflecting on the nature of her role, Singh emphasized that if anyone ever suggested she tone down her laughter, they “might not be on this earth.” Sunil Grover interjected, pointing out the irony of such suggestions given Singh’s unique role on the show.

One way ticket: Either Kamala bubble will burst or Trump voters get demotivated and don't show up, says Peter Thiel
Peter Thiel predicted that the U.S Presidential Elections of 2024 are not even going to be close and a single side between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party is simply going to collapse and bite off the dust. The Business Insider reported that the pretty conservative tech billionaire Peter Thiel asserted that either the camp of Vice President Kamala Harris will burst or the supporters of Donald Trump might not even show up while getting really demotivated, as per a report. Peter Thiel added that previously he believed that the result of the U.S Presidential Election was going to be close but now he believes, that will not be the case as a pro Donald Trump supporter, saying that evidently most of the U.S Presidential Elections on American soil were not even close, though, Presidential Elections of 2016 and 2020 was an exception, Business Insider reported. Silver lining for the ex-president: economy and immigration; that's where Donald Trump scores against Kamala Harris
Donald Trump might have a bright spot. Numerous polls since the candidates' Tuesday meeting in Philadelphia have shown Harris to be just ahead of Trump. Trump still has the advantage when it comes to voters' trust in his ability to handle immigration and the economy. These two issues that voters have repeatedly stated are their top concerns in this year's election, even though Harris has seen a slight increase in support. Although polls released over the past week may not fully reflect the impact of the debate and issues like Trump's second alleged assassination attempt, they generally indicate a slight to moderate improvement for Harris. Inflation cools sharply to 2% in August, hitting Bank of Canada’s target
inflation cooled sharply to two per cent in August, according to Statistics Canada, marking a major milestone in the Bank of Canada’s efforts to tame price pressures. That’s half a percentage point lower than the 2.5 per cent annual rate recorded in July and continues a general cooling trend through 2024.The last time inflation was at or below two per cent was in early 2021.Statistics Canada pointed to cheaper prices on gasoline as driving down the headline inflation figure in August. Without the drop in gas prices, annual inflation would’ve been 2.2 per cent in August, StatCan said.Grocery prices rose 2.4 per cent annually in August, up from 2.1 per cent in July, mostly because of comparisons to sizeable price movements the same time last year.On a monthly basis, grocery prices were down 0.2 per cent from July to August, StatCan noted, thanks largely to seasonal drops in fresh vegetable costs.Another part of the basket seeing monthly prices drops last month was clothing and footwear, down 0.6 per cent.StatCan noted how rare this is — it’s the first time prices have fallen here in August since 1971 — given the month marks back-to-school shopping season.

Netanyahu allies make the case for firing Israeli defense minister
Subscribe to enjoy similar stories. TEL AVIV—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political allies vigorously made the case for him to replace his defense minister amid bitter disagreement over the war in Gaza, a move that would deepen the divide between the leader and his security establishment and remove the government’s main advocate of a tighter relationship with the U.S. Sacking Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who has clashed publicly with Netanyahu for months, would have wide-ranging impacts on the country’s multifront war and U.S.
