New Delhi: The Union agriculture ministry is in talks with the food processing industries ministry to take over a scheme aimed for the integrated development of the tomato, onion and potato (TOP) value chain, a government official aware of the matter said. The TOP scheme is part of Operation Greens, announced for 22 crops in the FY19 Union Budget. If finalized, the agriculture ministry will be able to support growers by purchasing these three perishable crops when their prices crash.

His defiant behavior continued as he swaggered across the stage and insulted the Malaysian government. The band's set was eventually shut down shortly after the incident. However well-intentioned, locals argue that his actions have disrupted an already delicate political environment for LGBT Malaysians, leading to further harm and damage. «The 1975» cancelled a concert in Indonesia Sunday, after Malaysia axed a festival over a same-sex kiss and tirade against the country's anti-LGBTQ laws by their frontman. Indonesia's LGBTQ laws are less strict than those in neighbouring countries such as Malaysia, where homosexuality is a crime. But several events have been cancelled in recent years.

Avinash Bhosle in a money laundering case, citing that prima facie it is clear that he had fraudulently obtained more than Rs 71 crore from DHFL «without any genuine business transaction». Punia, Phogat and four other wrestlers, who staged a sit-in protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar from April 21 to May 28, had sought time till August 10 to prepare for the trials. However, the Olympic Council Asia (OCA) did not extend the deadline beyond July 23 for receiving wrestling entries by name. The IOA ad-hoc panel then decided to conduct trials but exempted both Punia and Phogat, triggering angry reactions from the wrestling fraternity, which alleged bias in the decision. «We will propose to the panel that only if Bajrang and Vinesh win the World Championship trials, only then they should be sent for the Asian Games, otherwise not. If Bajrang loses the trial then he will be on stand-by and the winner of the Asian Games trial (Vishal Kaliraman) will go,» Gian Singh, a member of the panel told PTI. As of now Kaliraman (men's freestyle 65kg) and Antim Panghal (women's 53kg) are standby players, having won the Asian Games trials in categories where Bajrang and Vinesh compete.

DLF has acquired a controlling 51% stake in a special purpose vehicle (SPV) responsible for a development project spanning around 3.5 million square feet in Mumbai’s Andheri area for approximately Rs 400 crore. “This is part of a bigger slum rehab scheme, where we anticipate that once the entire process is complete, the total saleable area should be in the range of 3 to 3.5 million square feet,” DLF chief executive Ashok Kumar Tyagi said during the real estate developer first quarter earnings call on Monday.
