The UGC NET examination took place from August 21 to September 5, 2024, across various test centers nationwide. Following the examination, the provisional answer key was released on September 8, 2024. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections against this answer key until September 11. After careful review by subject matter experts, the final answer key was published on October 12, 2024.
