Pidilite Industries Ltd. traded 1.01 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 11:11AM (IST). Around 59,487 shares changed hands on the counter. The scrip opened at Rs 3105.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3140.45 and Rs 3105.0, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Pidilite Industries Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3232.3 and a 52-week low of Rs 2293.1.

Happiest Minds Technologies fell 9.5% to the day’s low of Rs 830.20 on BSE after the company’s promoter Ashok Soota reportedly sold off 6% stake and approximately 91.3 lakh shares in the company through a block deal. The official buyers and sellers of the transaction are not yet known.

On the BSE, Ascensive Educare(down 20.00 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 16.93 per cent), Achyut Healthcare(down 11.42 per cent), Jigar Cables(down 10.00 per cent) and Sheshadri Industries(down 9.92 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

GAIL (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 212.75 on BSE at 10:45AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.09 per cent from previous close. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 103.55 and a high of Rs 233.0.

silver July futures contracts opened at Rs 88,858/kg falling by Rs 141 or 0.16%. On Monday, gold and silver settled on a mixed note in the international as well as the domestic markets. On MCX, the gold August futures contract settled at Rs 71,791 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.29%, and the silver July futures contract settled at Rs 88,999 per kilogram with a loss of 0.16%.

The stock had closed at Rs 1579.15 in the previous session. The counter had a total traded volume of 10:35AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 59.62 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 94.81 and a price-to-book ratio of 23.16.

Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent), J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sobha Ltd.(up 2.97 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The NSE Nifty index traded 54.41 points up at 23592.25, while BSE Sensex was up 213.63 points at 77554.71 as of 10:39AM(IST)on June 25.

Satya Nadella had to step in to resolve a lock-step with Nvidia after the two tech giants clashed for months over the design of an artificial intelligence (AI) chip, according to a report by The Information.The root of the issue was reportedly Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's "tight control" over how his company's chips are distributed and installed by clients, which led to a months-long fight with Microsoft, it added.Huang has been open about controlling who gets how many chips in order to prevent companies from stockpiling the item during periods of limited supply.The bone of contention here was that Nvidia also tried to dictate the server rack configuration within Microsoft's data centres where the chips were being installed. However, installing the chips as Nvidia wanted could have affected Microsoft's ability to switch to different AI chips, the report added citing sources.The report said that disagreement over how Microsoft was using the hardware after its purchase led to the production of Nvidia's next flagship chip GB200 --- complete with a server rack design specified by Huang.The long-drawn argument only concluded when it reached Nadella's desk, and he reportedly made Nvidia roll back their demands.

Stock market today: After a weak opening, the Indian stock market remained volatile but ended marginally higher on Monday. The Nifty 50 index added 36 points and closed at 23,537, whereas the BSE Sensex finished 131 points higher at 77,341. The Bank Nifty index went up 42 points and ended at 51,703.
