Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.37% in an upbeat market

Sobha Ltd.(up 2.97 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 2.62 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.58 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.0 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.98 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 1.39 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 1.37 per cent at 1119.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.56 points at 23590.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 213.17 points at 77554.25.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Hind Const Co, JP Power and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Naga Dhunseri Group, AmaraRaja Batteries, Somi Conveyor, PNB Gilts and Mohit Inds hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Filatex Fashions, We Win, Eurotex Ind, Future Supply Chain and Pansari Developers hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
