According to Bryan Johnson, no one has ever been able to live longer than 120 years. He thinks that the solution may lie in gene therapy. He said that, being on an island close to Honduras, he never imagined he would undergo gene therapy.

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had, last September, filed a charge sheet against three Railway employees, including two engineers and a technician, in connection with the June 2 Balasore train accident last year, which had claimed over 290 lives. The trio was arrested by the agency in July last year. Those charge sheeted were the then senior section engineer (signal) Arun Kumar Mahanta, the then section engineer Mohammed Amir Khan and the then technician Pappu Kumar. All three were posted in Balasore district of Odisha. The trio was charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, causing disappearance of evidence of offence with common intention and endangering the safety of persons travelling by Railways by wilful act or omission. The charge sheet was filed by the CBI in the court of Special Judicial Magistrate, Bhubaneswar. As per available information, the case is still hanging fire in the trial court.

Gadkari on Monday chaired a review meeting that was also attended by Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh. «The prestigious Chhatergala tunnel work, costing about Rs 4,000 crore, will be executed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the underpasses on the Kathua express corridor section, wherever demanded by the public, will be undertaken at the earliest,» an official spokesperson said after the review meeting. During the meeting, Singh thanked Gadkari for accepting most of the suggestions and proposals put across by him.

The express train was struck from behind by a goods train at Rangapani, near New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. The general seating coach was the most affected, being thrown onto adjacent tracks, he added.
