Elon Musk decreed that Twitter’s product name would be changed to “X," and that he is getting rid of the bird logo and all the associated words, including “tweet." Musk’s move wiped out anywhere between $4 billion and $20 billion in value, according to analysts and brand agencies. “It took 15-plus years to earn that much equity worldwide, so losing Twitter as a brand name is a significant financial hit," said Steve Susi, director of brand communication at Siegel & Gale. Musk, whose company has already declined significantly in value since he purchased it for $44 billion in October, announced the change on Saturday night.

Elon Musk has always managed to show her liking for the alphabet ‘X’. However, this time, Musk's obsession for ‘X’ can bring him at the centre of several lawsuits.  According to experts, companies including Meta and Microsoft already have intellectual property rights to the same letter. Moreover, the alphabet ‘X’ is so widely used and cited in trademarks that it would be rare for Twitter if it managed to transform into ‘X’ without any legal complications.  "There's a 100% chance that Twitter is going to get sued over this by somebody," trademark attorney Josh Gerben told Reuter's Blake Brittain.

On another occasion, 50 Cent and T.I. had a spat in 2011 due to Twitter miscommunication. Similarly, singer Nicky Minaj had an issue with the Florida duo City Girls. Minaj said that she would never team up with City Girls because she did not like them. Later, she said just the opposite.

Alliance (NDA) versus Opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A on the Manipur violence and sexual harassment case.  Smriti Irani at the BJP headquarters in Delhi said that Congress is running away from discussion on Manipur. The politician further reiterated the claim that sexual harassment were prevalent in opposition party ruled states.  “Congress is running away from discussion on Manipur as they know they will have to answer on crimes against women in their states but I want to appeal that stop using crime against women as instruments to settle political scores..." BJP MP Smriti Irani told reporters.  Since after the video of two Kuki Zo women being sexually harassed by a mob of Meitei men became viral also revealing that the crime that took place on 4 May, found no punitive action till mid-July, Opposition has accused the ruling dispensation of turning a blind eye.  Meanwhile BJP has counter attacked the opposition by flagging sexual harassment cases in states governed by Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC).  The opposition mounted a fresh attack on the government after the May 4 incident video surfaced showing two women from one of the warring communities in Manipur being paraded naked and assaulted by a group of men from the other side.  Six people have been arrested so far, including a juvenile, involving the incident.

Elon Musk has officially rebranded the microblogging platform he owns. Formerly known as Twitter, the platform has now been unveiled as "X." This development comes as no surprise, as Musk had previously engaged his followers by requesting them to design mockups for the new logo. He promised to select a "good enough" design to be adopted globally, and he has now fulfilled that commitment.  As evident by the appearance of the X affiliate badge alongside the blue tick on Musk's profile, the change has been implemented and Twitter is now officially recognized as X.

Congress on Monday termed as «a desperate bid to manage headlines» Home Minister Amit Shah's assertion that the government was ready for a discussion on Manipur in Parliament. The party said Shah was «totally silent» on the opposition alliance INDIA's demand for a statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue. Shah said he was willing to hold discussion in the Lok Sabha on the situation in Manipur and wondered why the opposition was not ready for it. Speaking briefly in the Lok Sabha, he requested opposition leaders to allow debate, saying it was important for truth to come out before the country on the Manipur issue. Reacting to Shah's remarks, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, «In a desperate bid to manage headlines, the Home Minister today said that the Modi government is ready for a discussion on Manipur in Parliament. He is not doing anybody any special favour. »The perfectly democratic and legitimate demand of the parties comprising INDIA is for a statement by the Prime Minister on the Manipur situation FIRST followed by a discussion. HM is totally silent on this. What is the hesitation in getting PM to speak INSIDE Parliament first?" Ramesh said on Twitter.
