Compromise breakfast: This is what Michelle Obama ate for breakfast virtually every day when she was growing up
the former First Lady may have learned a thing or two about fine dining, breakfast used to be the last thing Michelle Obama wanted to eat. Consequently, she spent many years of her life starting every day with the same thing. In the first episode of the Audible podcast Your Mama's Kitchen, Michelle revealed the information, stating that her hate of breakfast stemmed from the fact that her family typically makes a big deal out of it. She revealed that she used to be a fussy eater. Nothing about breakfast appealed to her. Her brother, who regularly ate breakfast, thought she was nuts, she revealed to podcast presenter and journalist Michele Norris. Her brother was becoming more and more of an athlete; therefore, they ate large breakfasts. Everything was served in this order: cereal, fried or scrambled eggs, a ton of toast, bacon, and link sausage. Thus, breakfast was substantial. Even though Michelle's family enjoyed breakfast, she admitted that she despised it. As a result, Marian Robinson, Michelle's mother, tried ferociously to convince her daughter to eat the most significant meal of the day. From Peels to Fuel: Potatoes may soon quench thirst of your car
pilot plant to test its technology to convert potato waste and peels into ethanol, people in the know said. The Shimla-based institute recently completed lab studies on how potato waste can be repurposed for producing the bio fuel. India is the world's second-largest producer of potatoes after China. Since the quantity of discarded potatoes in the country is high -10-15% of the total production — it is being seen as potential feedstock for ethanol after sugarcane and maize. The National Policy on Biofuels mentions rotten potatoes in the list of feedstocks for ethanol. «Potatoes are also considered a viable alternative due to the significant amount of waste that can be repurposed. Additionally, India has the largest cold storage facilities for potatoes, and the significant amount of potato waste available further supports their use in ethanol production,» said Dharmedra Kumar, scientist, CPRI.

MQ9B Crash: Old problem haunts drone, double generator failed
Indian Navy drone in the Bay of Bengal last week, preliminary reports indicate. The high-value drone was lost last Wednesday in a 'controlled ditching' at sea following a technical glitch. Sources said that the crash took place after the battery of the drone that powers up its electrical systems got depleted during flight. This, they explained, took place after a reported double generator failure, a recurring problem with the MQ9 fleet in service with the US. Officials said the drone most likely disintegrated on crashing into the sea and will be difficult to recover given the depths involved. It is being described as a total loss, though the Navy will not have to bear the costs as the drone has been taken on lease and was being operated by its manufacturer, General Atomics. The manufacturer has also been asked to submit a report on the accident by the Navy.

Secularism is 'European concept not Bhartiya': TN governor Ravi
Secularism is a European concept evolved after a conflict between the church and the king whereas Bharat is a dharma-centric nation and therefore, it was not part of the Constitution, but added during the Emergency by «one insecure prime minister», Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi has said. A lot of frauds have been committed on the people of the country, and one of them was a wrong interpretation of secularism, he said addressing an event in Kanyakumari district on Sunday. «What does secularism mean? Secularism is a European concept, secularism is not a Bharatiya concept,» he said. Decades later, during emergency (1975-77), «one insecure Prime Minister,» introduced secularism in the Constitution in order to appease some sections of people, the Governor alleged. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister during the emergency.

World wide web of schools for our young: Indian students' dream to study abroad remains a steady one
Indian students are intent on adding that foreign education experience on their CV. As Canada, Britain and Australia set conditions and caps for foreign students, Indians are looking elsewhere. Barring the US, which continues to dominate the destination wishlist, students are now opting to study in countries that were previously not on their list for reasons such as language barrier, strict work-study norms and higher financial requirements. As some of the traditional favourite education destinations limit entry, others, particularly non-English-speaking countries, are improving the 'ease of onboarding international students'.

Girlfriends of RFK Jr: He once had 43 mistresses in his phone under the letter G including his current wife Cheryl Hines
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had a list on his cellphone of up to 43 alleged mistresses. As reported in 2014 the 70-year-old Kennedy scion had the contact details of several women on an alphabetical list under the letter ‘G,’ which his late second wife thought meant ‘goomar,’ the Italian term for mistress. Actress Cheryl Hines of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ was one of the women on the list; she married Kennedy that year in his Hyannis Port family property. Hines has not responded to rumors that her husband was having an affair with Olivia Nuzzi, a journalist for New York magazine, earlier this year. However, according to an insider, the ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ star is no pushover. She could never put up with this. She is a strong woman. She is not a meek housewife in her own home. The source claimed that she is financially independent and successful on her own.

5 tips to survive a clique-heavy workplace environment
Remember your school or college days when some seemingly “cool” individuals would hang out only with “their group” — be it for lunch, projects or other activities? Recall how that made you feel. Isolated? Rejected? These are the experiences of an individual who tries to survive in a work environment that has cliques. A clique is basically a group of people who share similar interests and so like to spend time together. However, such groups become a problem at workplaces as they make others feel unwelcome or unwanted.
