IIT students worried as job offers decline by 30% this year: Report IIT- Bombay alumnus and founder of Global IIT Alumni Support Group Dheeraj Singh said that 35.8% of students remained without placement in the current placement season. Last year, of the 2,209 registered students in the institute, 1,485 were placed while 32.8% remained unplaced last session as well. AICC General Secretary (Communications) Jairam Ramesh said, «The party lodged a complaint against the BJP's repeated and malicious use of cropped and distorted videos to malign the INC. NEW DELHI : Power plants running on imported coal will have to operate at full capacity till September to meet rising demand for electricity, as per a government order. The power ministry said in a statement that it will extend Section 11 of the Electricity Act till the end of September. So far, the mandate is in effect till June.
