2025-2027 will be very beneficial for Adani Enterprise; expect Jio listing in new year: Deven Choksey
Deven Choksey, MD, DRChoksey FinServ Pvt. Ltd, says 2025-2027 will be very beneficial for Adani Enterprise. The company is developing many businesses, and each one is getting close to being listed on its own. For instance, Adani Airports and Adani Roads, which are part of Adani Enterprise, are expected to become independent companies during this time. Additionally, the issues from last year regarding excessive debt have been managed effectively. Choksey believes this will lead to better cash flow, driving further growth for the company. Therefore, Adani Port will likely remain a strong partner alongside Adani Enterprise. Choksey also says that 2025 should be the year when Reliance would list the Jio platforms and that is where the earning opportunity should be. We have to watch out how the industrials and capex pick up. Ashoka Buildcon has managed to sell 11 SPVs and is going to get liquidity to the tune of around Rs 2400 crore. Any other infrastructure and EPC name that you have been tracking closely? Deven Choksey: Overall, the entire size of the opportunity is becoming big because the government is spending big time money on building the infrastructure. If the budget of Rs 11,000 crore has been completed, then further money has been allocated in this particular period. I guess the government will be distinctly comfortable allocating more money towards infrastructure building even in the current year. That is where the budget allocation would play a meaningful role.

Foreign investors to stay cautious as India’s market valuations remain high: Punita Kumar Sinha
«And if you look at the expectation and the probabilities of further rate cuts in the US, there is only an expectation of another 25 basis points cut in the next six months,» says Punita Kumar Sinha, Pacific Paradigm Advisors. A very interesting point that you made there that a couple of these MNCs now are actually looking to delist in some of the other geographies and make way for the India entry. But this particular year has been quite robust in terms of the new IPOs entering into the markets and the new companies entering into the Indian markets. But what I wanted to know is that what is keeping FIIs back from investing in coming ahead and putting the money in the Indian markets? And what can actually be changed in the overall environment to get these FIIs back into the Indian markets? What is your take on that? Punita Kumar Sinha: Well, as I said, the perception was or has been created across the world is that India is an expensive market and the valuations in India are much higher than the rest of the world, which has kept some of the foreign investors a little bit on the sidelines.

Market is always fairly valued; low-double digit market return can be expected in 2025: Prashant Khemka
Prashant Khemka, Founder, White Oak Capital Management, says he believes that the market cannot be predicted, and it should always be viewed at fair value. It is always at fair value. If it drops 20% tomorrow, that is still fair value based on all the corporate news. Similarly, if it rises, it remains fair value. During COVID, when the market fell by 30%, it was fair value at that time, and when it bounced back by 30%, 40%, 50%, or more, it was still fair value because the market is always changing. In the context of India, a fairly valued market suggests it will provide low-double digit returns over the next year.
