
22-year-old woman found dead and dumped in suitcase near highway; one arrested
Indian National Congress worker, 22-year-old Himani Narwal’s body was found dumped near Rohtak-Delhi highway in Sampla on March 1. The 22-year-old woman was killed, and her body was stuffed in a suitcase. The police authorities have recovered the suitcase on a bus stop of the busy highway.
The case is currently being investigated, and one arrest has been made so far. The accused in the custody is 30-year-old Sachin alias Dhillu.
How was the accused arrested in murder of a 22-year-old woman?
According to the reports, the police authorities were successful in nabbing Sachin after they searched the Facebook chats of Narwal. It took them two days to find the accused in the case. Dhillu is reportedly a Facebook friend of Narwal.
It was claimed by Director General of Police (ADGP) Krishan Kumar Rao in a press conference that the gruesome incident took place after a heated argument over money. The accused has also stolen the woman’s phone, laptop and jewellery before disposing of her body, the reports claim.

Himani Narwal, a 22-year-old woman killed recently, worked for the Indian National Congress. According to her mother, Himani was an active party worker and has been a key speaker on various issues during the Bharat Jodo Yatra initiative by Rahul Gandhi. Savita Narwal, her mother, has stated that her daughter has worked as a Congress staffer for nearly a decade.
