California’s Prolonged Vote Counting Under Scrutiny
California, the most populous US state with nearly 39 million residents, has been grappling with slow vote counting. As of November 24, over 570,000 ballots remain uncounted statewide, according to the Secretary of State's office. With 98% of the ballots processed, news agency Associated Press called the race, projecting Democratic candidate Kamala Harris as the winner with 58.6% of the vote, against Donald Trump’s 38.2%.
