verify the email address and mobile number you provided at the most recent Aadhaar detail update or when you signed up for it. However, there are some services which can be availed without a registered mobile number and some services need the registered mobile number.
In a recent UIDAI post on social media X, “Enjoy many Aadhaar-related services online, if your mobile is updated with Aadhaar, like Document Update, Download e-Aadhaar, Lock/Unlock Aadhaar, Bank Seeding Status, etc. Visit your nearest Aadhaar center to update your mobile in Aadhaar.”
Step 1: Go to the official UIDAI website.
Step 2: Select «Verify Email/Mobile Number from the drop-down menu.»
Step 3: You will land on a new page. Now, choose «Verify Mobile Number.»
Step 4: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, mobile number and the captcha code.
If your phone number is already verified, a confirmation pop-up will appear. If the number you provided does not exist, a pop-up message will appear indicating that it does not match the data.
