Eva Longoria, an actress, acknowledged that she and her family left the dystopian United States for a better life in Mexico and Spain, escaping the homelessness and exorbitant taxes of California, as quoted in a report by The New York Post.
Longoria shared that this is where she spent her entire adult life. However, things were shifting even before the pandemic. It had a different vibe. The COVID-19 pandemic then pushed it over the edge. Whether it's the taxes or the homelessness, she doesn't want to criticise California; it just feels like this phase of her life is over.
The 49-year-old Desperate Housewives star countered that Donald Trump's victory was another reason to leave, even though the homelessness and taxes occurred in California during the Democratic administration.
