Akshat Shrivastava slams 'mob-lynching' of Ranveer Allahbadia: 'Atul Subhash's murderers are roaming free. People dying due to air pollution’
Ranveer Allahbadia has been facing immense backlash over his inappropriate “parent” comment at comedian Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show. Despite his apology, where he mentioned that comedy is not his “forte”, the famous podcaster is being criticised, not just by the internet, but by famous personalities, the film industry and the politicians of the country. Recently, finance expert Akshat Shrivastava called out Ranveer Allahabadia, aka, Beer Biceps’ “wrong and outright stupid” statement but also pointed out the unfairness of politicians to go after him when there are more pressing issues at hand and called the “mob-lynching” wrong.
Akshat Shrivastava’s tweet read, “What @BeerBicepsGuy said was wrong. And, outright stupid. But, honestly, it is sad to see political machinery going after him personally. We have rich kids, who are outright murderers: roaming free. Atul Subhash's murderers are roaming free. People are dying a slow death in cities like Delhi due to pollution. There are real problems to be solved. Not what someone said. And, how crass it was. What he said was ugly to the core, no doubt. People have the right to express their viewpoints. But this type of mob lynching is not correct. It can really break people. The punishment for stupidity shouldn't be this high.”
