“For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the best Malayalam actors, our FaFa [Fahadh Faasil]. I actually miss seeing him today. I wish we were both here in Kerala—it would have been an iconic moment,” Allu Arjun said, adding, “FaFa has rocked the show in Pushpa 2, and he will make every Keralite proud across the world. Allu Arjun didn’t stop at praising Fahadh. He also commended Rashmika Mandanna, who reprises her role as Srivalli, for her dedication to the series. Furthermore, the actor acknowledged the contributions of director Sukumar, whom he credited with shaping his career. “It was Sukumar who gave me Arya, and that film started my journey in Malayalam cinema. From Arya to Pushpa, the love you all have shown me is incredible,” he said.
The sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, Pushpa 2: The Rule will see Allu Arjun return as the titular anti-hero alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Sukumar, the film also features an ensemble cast including Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
Scheduled for a global release on December 5, 2024, Pushpa 2 is already creating waves with its teaser and music tracks. Fans eagerly await the next chapter in Pushpa’s journey, which promises more drama, action, and iconic moments.
