Google has recently changed its algorithms and is now planning on rolling in some new updates for its shopping search tools ahead of the summer sales season, including Amazon Prime Day 2024 sales. The new updates attempt at giving shoppers a much better user experience when they arrive on the search site to browse their product of choice. The new update will in fact help users find the cheapest deals and the lowest price amongst retailers, based on the similar products, says USA Today.
According to a USA Today report, online shopping significantly peaks during the summers according to previous year trajectories, especially in mid-July. In fact, the demand of online summer shopping is so high, that it surpasses the keyword 'vacation'. Moreover, Google executives are of the opinion that special deal days like 'Amazon Prime Day 2024' actually lures shoppers to purchase even more than they usually do.
