US Independence Day 2024 is going to be celebrated on the Fourth of July, and there are major events already lined up in major US cities for its residents who are in a festive mood. Fourth of July celebrations will include live music events, firework displays, educational events, parades, and so much more as part of paying tribute.
However, this day is a federal holiday and therefore, major government-regulated or aided operations, including banking and post offices will stay shut on July 4 on the occasion of US Independence Day 2024. Meanwhile, there were concerns around the stock market in the United States staying open or shut o this occasion.

Will NASDAQ and NYSE stay closed on Fourth of July?
According to a USA Today report, NASDAQ will remain closed on the Fourth of July and all trading will stay shut on this day. It will only resume on July 5, at regular trading hours.
Meanwhile, the New York Stock Exchange will also remain closed on the Fourth of July, and will close in the early hours of Wednesday, July 3, and resume operations on July 5, according to USA Today.
